Export Process
The Process of Pomegranate Export
with Navis Orbis
At Navis Orbis, exporting pomegranates from India is a carefully managed process. From order confirmation to delivery, every step ensures freshness, quality, and compliance with international standards.
Order Confirmation & Planning
The export process starts once the agreement is signed and advance payment is received. We confirm the order, coordinate with logistics partners to check ship schedules, and plan the shipment. Then, we communicate with our suppliers to place the order according to the buyer’s requirements.
Harvesting & Farm Selection
Our pomegranates are handpicked by skilled labor and carefully loaded onto trucks. They are transported to our warehouse in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
Sorting, Grading & Packing
At the warehouse, fruits are sorted and graded under expert supervision according to buyer requirements. Lower-grade or rejected fruits are sold in the local market. Skilled labor weighs and packs the fruits into boxes, which are then sealed.
White Labelling & Private Labelling
Navis Orbis provides customized packaging tailored to your brand. This allows buyers to export premium Indian pomegranates under their own label.
Cold Storage
Packed boxes are stored in cold storage at 7°C for 7–8 hours (for pre-cooling )to preserve freshness before shipment.
Container Stuffing & Quality Checks
Refrigerated containers are inspected before stuffing. Boxes are carefully loaded under expert supervision, while quality checks and lab tests are carried out simultaneously to ensure top quality.
Customs & Documentation
Once stuffing is complete, the container is locked and moved to the customs warehouse. Customs officers inspect the shipment, handle documentation, and seal the container with both customs and shipping line seals for maximum security.
Shipping & Delivery
The container is transported to the port, loaded onto the ship, and shipped to the buyer’s destination, maintaining freshness, quality, and taste throughout the journey.
